Mummies and Buggies Postnatal Fitness Classes
Claire has additional qualifications in Ante/Postnatal Fitness and Pilates and has been running postnatal fitness classes for new mums (and their babies!) for over 4 years.
Mummies and Buggies Postnatal Fitness Classes are mother and baby indoor workouts which involve a 30 minute basic aerobics routine (incorporating your buggy to settle your little one to sleep), 20 minutes of toning/Pilates exercises to specifically target those muscles which alter during pregnancy and 10 minutes stretching/relaxation to relieve tension and lengthen tight muscles.
Getting back into exercise after having had a baby can be very difficult, and it is very important to undertake exercise under the instruction of a qualified instructor. Pregnancy changes your posture considerably, and coming along to Mummies and Buggies Postnatal Fitness Classes enables you to return to exercise safely and effectively, with the added bonus of NOT having to pay for a babysitter, as you bring your new arrival with you!
Mummies and Buggies offers a social element too and provides you with a great opportunity to meet other new mums who you can chat to over coffee at the end of your workout.
Claire's current Mummies and Buggies Classes are run as follows:

CoreBaby Postnatal Pilates Classes
CoreBaby are specific Postnatal Pilates Classes for new mums (and their babies!). Pilates is a brilliant form of exercise for posnatal women to do, due to its focus on "core", abdominal and pelvic floor strength.
CoreBaby classes are suitable for new mums who are absolute beginners to Pilates; those who want a slower, controlled pace of exercise; those who have underlying pelvic/stability issues, and ladies who haven't participated in regular exercise for some time.
It's not for softies though - Pilates is challenging, both mentally and physically, and Claire ensures your workout gets gradually harder as you progress through the program. The rewards and benefits Pilates offer the postnatal client are immense, and don't be concerned if you think your baby will cry - everyone's in the same boat!
